The GMO Mythbusting project is a comprehensive strategy to educate citizens and decision-makers of the world about the myths the biotech industry perpetuates in order to push their products onto global markets. These myths are intended to deceive the public into believing GM products are safe when, in fact, the severe environmental, social, and economic consequences of using GM food products are well documented. The broad objective of the mythbusting project is to encourage citizen action toward establishing socially responsible and economically sustainable agricultural policies.
